Pros & Cons
- ✅ This is a powdery slightly sweet and woody rose. The opening is somewhat of a crystallized rose with musk in the back. Slowly the woody and ambery accords make their way to guide the rose. This is a unisex fragrance but I would say it fits a man more. Lasts hours and gets so many complements. Unlike other rose fragrances which are too vegetal or artificial. If you like Le Labo's Rose 31, I would say this is a must have!
- ✅ A beautifully crafted scent with the rose as the main player which is balanced perfectly by the vetiver and musk, I cannot sense agarwood as a component. The performance is excellent longevity and projection. Great inspiration from the House
- ✅ Just got a 10 ml of this fragrance and I was thrown off by it's dry down on strip. ... I sprayed it on my arm and I got an herbal dry rose that's very realistic, not jammy or sweet but the actual flower. But it's not overwhelming or overtly feminine because just as strong is the cumin/caraway note. ... Overall I'm really digging this, it's similar to Declaration by Cartier (not scent profile) in that it's not for everyone because of that spicy animalic note. I would consider this unisex (maybe slight masculine lean), usually with rose fragrances it's harder for a man to pull off but not with this one.

- ❌ Very similar to Le Labos Rose 31, maybe 80% but something is missing. I don't know if Rose 31 was heavier on the cedar, cumin or musk, as it seemed a bit spicier and more complex. This is better than Le Labos current formulation of Rose 31 IMO, but to get the same feel of the original, I'd suggest maybe layering it with a clean musk or cedar to give it more depth. Performance seems average. Longevity a little over 6 hours, moderate projection on me.
- ❌ Painfully (literally) overpowering rose. Perhaps my issue is with rose scents in general. Hard to know due to lack of experience with other rose scents. I have a hard time getting much else out of it. When it has dried down, I can start to make out that there are other notes in there, but this is a dislike for me.
