Pros & Cons

  • ✅ This is a very deep and sensual white floral fragrance. It's rather sexy, but fresh and clean enough to wear during the day.
  • ✅ I love this perfume. It draws a lot of compliments. It is a beautiful tuberose smell, mixed with some gardenia. Crisp and clean.
  • ✅ Velvet Tuberose is a gorgeous, creamy white floral cloud whirling with delicate powdery grains of amber dust and soft floral vanilla orchid petals.
  • ✅ This was the gardenia that put me in a never-ending frenzy in search of the perfect gardenia... it is 'cleaned' up in a way but without losing its character. BBW did a huge disservice to itself by discontinuing it.
  • ✅ BBW GARDENIA is a relatively sweet big white floral fragrance which opens with a huge blast of creamy tuberose and dries down to a somewhat sterner gardenia-jasmine scent. The longevity and sillage of this edt are quasi-infinite.
  • ❌ Too strong and smells too 'mature' for me. PASS!
  • ❌ It is very linear — can't really smell anything besides the tuberose. It can be overpowering at times.
  • ❌ I used to have a bottle of this, but not anymore. It had a strong floral smell. It was not my favorite, and I won't buy it again.
