Pros & Cons
- ✅ It's very nice fragrance for gentlemen. It does not scream, but gently whispers to those around you. Just beautiful in its simplicity.
- ✅ I still think this scent is great, but for some reason I don't get the lavender as much anymore. Opens with a sweet orange note that isn't listed here and a hint of lavender and dries down to a cozy, warm vanilla and a slightly spicy rum note that rounds out and tones down the vanilla sweetness.
- ✅ Smells really good, sweet, warm, and fresh.
- ✅ Parfum concentration delivers noticeably longer wear than an EDT without requiring heavy application.
- ✅ The vanilla absolute dry-down is smooth and rich without turning sweet or cloying on most skin types.
- ✅ Two sprays is genuinely enough for a full day, making the 100ml bottle last considerably longer than expected.
- ❌ It’s nice but doesn’t really project like a Parfum. More of a skin scent. Doesn’t smell anything like the original.
- ❌ I find it nauseatingly cloying and headache inducing at times. Overpriced for its quality.
- ❌ This is a very nice smelling designer like mass pleasing stuff but no where near parfum concentration, seems like 90% alcohol volume edt stuff.
- ❌ Projection is moderate at best — those wanting a noticeable scent trail will likely be disappointed.
- ❌ The lavender opening divides opinion; some find it too familiar and uninspired for a premium fragrance.
- ❌ Warm-weather performance suffers — the gourmand base can feel heavy and slightly cloying in summer heat.
