Pros & Cons
- ✅ I absolutely love this and prefer it to the OG. It smells like Beach Air. Think white sand, crystal blue water and an exotic atmosphere.
- ✅ I own both JHAG Vanilla Vibes and this one. I actually prefer the Dossier version. The opening isn't as mineral heavy, or salty. The vanilla is stronger in this one as well, the dry down is a soft, breezy non cloying vanilla.
- ✅ What a beautiful fragrance. Smells very similar to what it’s trying to replicate, however stands very strong on its own. It smells like summer in a bottle; warm skin heated from the sun, as well as ocean air stuck to your clothes and hot sand lingering all around.
- ❌ It’s so weird. Sometimes I love it and some times I hate it. Sometimes I feel like I’m on the beach drinking coconut water straight from a coconut with added vanillas. And then other times I feel like I smell like a WET DOG.
- ❌ Not for me. I returned it.
- ❌ The top notes sometimes come off a little bit like bug spray, but once you move past that it’s an easy dry-down to the salty vanilla tonka.
