Pros & Cons
- ✅ Cinnabar is extraordinary, intense, and seductive. Imagine a lavish room draped in red velvet. Incense is burning, the air is thick with the scent of crushed cinnamon, warm cloves, rich amber, and a trace of mysterious patchouli. Absolute alchemy.
- ✅ Spicy vintage cinnamon in a bottle. I thought that I would hate it as I'm not too good with vintage perfumes (they all smell a little toilet-y to me). But this is incredible. Like liquid cinnamon with extra spices.
- ✅ I LOVE Cinnabar! My French 9 classmate was wearing Cinnabar - a discarded sample given to her by her mom. I had not smelled anything quite like Cinnabar - being only 15 years old. ... This smell takes me back to school & happy memories!
- ✅ This is my love. I have found nothing else like it though Youth Dew is the best I can do since they share some DNA. I don't think I'll ever love another fragrance like this one. So spicy. So warm. It feels like home.

- ✅ Cinnabar is a vibe. She's an independent woman who knows what she wants; she's experienced and it shows, but in a way that's sexy, not cocky.
- ❌ I wanted to love this so bad! I thought my quest for a perfect non-powdery Oriental spicy would be over with Cinnabar. But alas. ... it's unfortunately not for me and is also not at all what I was expecting.
- ❌ This is just awful. To me it's stomach turning and an absolute scrubber. I have no idea why anybody likes this when Opium exists.
- ❌ At first I was pleased and intrigued, but something in this perfume works very badly with my body chemistry. It turned into one of those 'scrub it off as fast as you can' experiences.
- ❌ I wanted to love this so bad! ... But alas. First whiff out of the bottle I thought it smelled like slightly balsamic Fireball with a hint of that blue 2000s hand soap... The soapiness only got more and more intense as it dried down.

- ❌ I have the newer formula... the hint of vanilla and cinnamon notes are beautiful but I feel like something in this (it might be the spices) gives like a liver-ish and cigarette after scent that lingers which is so odd because I remember loving the original :(
