Pros & Cons
- ✅ Very strong and distinctive. This was my date night fragrance in high school (late eighties) and brings back a lot of memories.
- ✅ Smells very Italian to me. Fendi has the bones of a classic chypre... Very unique. Cardamom is prominent along with leather, patchouli, & starchy carnation, lifted by citrus. You'll stand apart in this, in a good way.
- ✅ This is a true classic! Fendi is sophisticated and warm, with the perfect balance of floral and spicy notes. I get lots of compliments when I wear it.
- ✅ Very strong and distinctive. This was my date night fragrance in high school (late eighties) and brings back a lot of memories. I still have a bottle today and wear it about once a year for a night in with my husband (high school sweetheart.) It's too strong to wear out in public in my opinion, and is definitely dated, but is super sexy, even after all these years.
- ✅ Spicy, Vintage Chypre... I wore this back in the early 90's, and loved it for the spiciness - the standouts being coriander, cardamom & the fresh spicy side of cypress. Also a faint vibe of pickling spices, that are all fluffed up by the oakmoss It's a big, bold chypre, and it was sold to me back then as being similar to Coco Chanel, and there are similarities, but they aren't identical. Fantastic performance, on par for big, bold chypres of this era, probably best in cooler weather but really anytime in moderation.
- ❌ Smells like Raid bug spray.
- ❌ It's too strong to wear out in public in my opinion, and is definitely dated, but is super sexy, even after all these years.
- ❌ I have an almost entirely full 25ml bottle that I don't reach for.
