Scent Journey
The first 15 to 30 minutes are a spiced bakery counter: cinnamon and nutmeg arrive dry and almost dusty before bergamot lifts them with a brief, tart shimmer. It reads warm and edible immediately, with no sharp alcohol blast — a hallmark of Lattafa's denser formulations. Some wearers find the opening slightly aggressive in the first five minutes on a hot day, but it settles fast.
Between roughly one and two hours, the dates and praline take the wheel. This is the heart everyone talks about: sticky, dark-fruit sweetness with a toasted nut edge, softened by tuberose and mahonial (a synthetic floral with a creamy, slightly honeyed character). The composition turns from spice-forward to dessert-forward, and this is where Khamrah earns its reputation as a cold-weather comfort scent.
From four hours onward, the base is a long, slow vanilla-tonka-amberwood hum. Benzoin and myrrh give it a faintly resinous, almost incense-adjacent depth that keeps it from turning into pure sugar, while akigalawood supplies a dry, peppery-woody backbone. The drydown can persist well past the eight-hour mark on clothing, and it is noticeably softer and more skin-like than the mid.

When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- ✅ Exceptional longevity for the price — routinely 8+ hours on skin
- ✅ Dense, well-blended gourmand structure that reads far more expensive than it costs
- ✅ Unisex in practice, despite skewing sweet
- ✅ A 100ml bottle for roughly the price of a designer 10ml travel spray
- ✅ Strong cold-weather performance and excellent performance on fabric
- ❌ Can become cloying in heat or high humidity
- ❌ The sweet date-and-praline heart is polarizing for anyone who dislikes gourmands
- ❌ Moderate projection means it sits closer to the skin than its reputation suggests
- ❌ No publicly credited perfumer, which limits transparency for collectors
- ❌ The name confusion around 'Kamra Mirror' makes counterfeits and mislabeled clones a real risk
Price & Value
“Outstanding value. Even at the top of the range, Khamrah delivers performance and density that designer houses charge four to six times more for. The only caveat is authenticity — buy from reputable sellers, because the name confusion has spawned a gray market of mislabeled bottles.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations reported. Lattafa's Khamrah production appears to be consistent across the batches documented by the community, with no widely reported reformulation or maceration-related divergence beyond the normal settling period after shipping.

Layering Ideas
- Layer a single spray with Khamrah Qahwa to push the composition toward a mocha-latte profile.
- Apply over an unscented vanilla or tonka body lotion to amplify the benzoin and tonka base and extend longevity on skin.
- Pair with a rose-oud attar on the wrists for a mukhallat-style Middle Eastern layering effect.
- Avoid layering with fresh citrus, aquatic, or green scents — they clash with the date and praline heart rather than complementing it.
