Pros & Cons

  • ✅ Powdery, airy and floral it felt beautiful and delicate to wear.
  • ✅ Initially waxy and slightly creamy, carnation and some sweet nutmeg. I expected it to be a clove spice bomb, but its pretty and floral on me.
  • ✅ It is not a romantic perfume nor is it an austere perfume. It oscillates between woods and spices... interesting and full of surprising twists.
  • ✅ Some absolutely adore it for its unique character.
  • ❌ Angry carnation, you say? If so, this is anger Eskimo style: quiet, still and chilly. Vitriol d’Oeillet’s “teeth”? They’re dentures, soaking in a glass on a lace-covered nightstand.
  • ❌ a challenging, even 'traumatic' experience.
  • ❌ It comes far too close to the smell of a sore muscle ointment.
  • ❌ My main qualm with it is its lack of distinction.
  • ❌ Others find it a challenging, even 'traumatic' experience.
