Scent Journey
The first fifteen to twenty minutes are bright but never sharp — a citrus welcome that behaves more like a courtesy than a statement. Bergamot supplies the classic fougère lift: cool, faintly bitter, with that tea-like aromatic edge that keeps things from turning sweet too early. Orange softens the bitterness with a rounder, juicier sweetness, the kind you get from flesh rather than peel. Beneath it, a powdery shimmer is already rising, promising the iris before it arrives.
This is where Inekas Luna earns its reputation. Iris takes the wheel — cool, powdered, faintly rooty, the scent of pressed violet petals and cold suede. It leans drier and more mineral than the buttery, lipstick-adjacent iris of some designer releases, with a subtle earthiness that keeps it from floating away. Chestnut arrives alongside it: nutty, lightly toasted, softly creamy, reading almost like a whisper of vanilla without ever becoming gourmand. Orange blossom threads through as a bright, faintly honeyed counterpoint, adding a floral shimmer that keeps the composition from turning austere. The overall effect is a cool-warm oscillation that is genuinely difficult to stop smelling.
From roughly the four-hour mark the composition settles into its leather-and-amber foundation, and the Givenchy DNA becomes unmistakable. The leather is supple and slightly animalic rather than harsh or chemical — closer to the inside of a well-worn glove than a new car interior. Amber provides resinous, balsamic warmth underneath, gently sweet, holding the leather in place. A nutty, earthy residue from the chestnut persists, and a faint animalic hum gives the finish a lived-in quality. Expect the final stage to sit close to the skin.
Performance Dashboard
Reported at roughly 4-6 hours, and variable. Some wearers find it fades to a skin scent within a couple of hours; others get a full working day from two or three sprays. Fabric holds it considerably longer than skin.
Moderate for the first two to three hours, then it draws in close to the body. This is a fragrance you wear for yourself and for anyone standing near you.
Moderate to intimate. It creates a defined personal aura rather than filling a room, and it never becomes loud or intrusive.

Price & Value
“One of the strongest value propositions in the affordable-luxury segment. Even accounting for its modest longevity, the cost-per-wear is difficult to argue with.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations have been widely reported. Some wearers do report inconsistent longevity between bottles and between skin types, which is common in this segment and is more likely attributable to skin chemistry, storage and application than to reformulation.

Layering Ideas
- Layer over a single spray of a plain vanilla or tonka body oil to extend the amber base and stretch longevity
- Pair with a light rose-oud attar on the wrists for a richer, more oriental evening character
- Spray a soft vetiver or dry cedar fragrance underneath to sharpen the earthy, mineral edge of the iris
- Combine with a bright citrus cologne on the chest in spring to lift the powdery heart without losing the leather
- Apply to moisturised skin and to the collar of a coat — fabric holds the leather-amber drydown far longer than skin
