Scent Journey
The first 0-30 minutes bring a bright, slightly green citrus sparkle. Sicilian mandarin gives a sunny, juicy lift, while aldehydes, galbanum, and bergamot add a soapy, green, and slightly bitter edge. Ylang-ylang and orange blossom introduce creamy floral sweetness early, with a whisper of coconut and rosewood.
At 1-2 hours, the heart becomes unmistakably Ysatis. A white and yellow floral bouquet takes over: tuberose, jasmine, narcissus, carnation, iris, and rose. Carnation brings spicy, clove-like warmth. Rum adds boozy, honeyed richness. Iris contributes powdery cool elegance. The florals are lush and slightly indolic, not clean or airy.
After 4+ hours, Indonesian patchouli essence anchors the modern EDT. In the classic lineage, the base expands into civet, honey, oakmoss, sandalwood, cloves, amber, musk, vetiver, laurels, and vanilla. The result is mossy, honeyed, animalic, and woody. The modern version is lighter here, but the vintage DNA remains detectable.
Performance Dashboard
8+ hours on skin; the modern EDT may soften after 5-6 hours but remains detectable.
Strong initially, projecting beyond arm's length before settling closer.
Heavy for an EDT; leaves a noticeable trail in cool weather.

Layering Ideas
- Layer with a simple vanilla or sandalwood oil to soften the animalic and mossy edges.
- Use a light citrus or green tea mist underneath to modernize the opening without altering the floral heart.
- Apply a single spray of Ysatis EDT to a scarf or coat rather than skin for a softer, more controlled trail.
