Scent Journey
The first thirty minutes are bright, wet and slightly sparkling. Bergamot delivers a bitter-clean citrus lift, neroli adds a soapy, sunlit floral shimmer, and pear arrives as a soft, watery juiciness rather than a candied fruit note. Early on it reads almost like a very expensive hair product — clean, fruity, faintly green at the edges. The angelica has not fully announced itself yet, but there is a cool, herbal undertow beneath the sweetness that hints at what is coming.
Between roughly one and two hours, the fragrance pivots from fruit to flower and the green accord takes the wheel. Angelica is the pivot point: an earthy, faintly bitter, almost gin-like herbal note that cuts through the sweetness and gives Beyond Precious its unusual, grown-up edge. Jasmine supplies creamy, slightly indolic body while orange blossom adds a honeyed, soap-and-skin warmth. This is the heart of the fragrance and the reason it does not smell like every other pear floral on the shelf.
From four hours onward, Beyond Precious becomes a soft, warm, second-skin scent. Immortelle is the star of the base — a honeyed, maple-syrupy, faintly hay-like note that is unmistakably a Guerlain signature ingredient. Tonka bean contributes almond and a whisper of tobacco, while vanilla rounds everything into a smooth, creamy finish. Projection drops noticeably, but the scent itself lingers close to the body for hours, leaving a warm trail on collars and scarves.

- ✅ Excellent value at 100ml for $25–$45
- ✅ Wearable across all four seasons
- ❌ Moderate projection may disappoint fans of Lattafa's louder releases

- ❌ Perfumer is uncredited, which frustrates collectors
Price & Value
“One of the strongest value propositions in the current Lattafa catalogue, provided you want a quiet fragrance rather than a loud one.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations have been reported for this 2026 release. As with any high-volume Gulf house, minor variance between production runs is theoretically possible, but nothing has been documented by the community to date.

Layering Ideas
- Layer with a simple vanilla or tonka-forward gourmand (such as Lattafa Khamrah) in winter to add warmth and depth without losing the green floral backbone.
- Pair with a clean white musk or skin-scent base to amplify the creamy drydown and extend longevity on warm days.
- Spray a green fig or vetiver fragrance underneath in summer to push the angelica's herbal edge forward for a cooler, more aromatic effect.
- Combine with a soft rose or iris scent for evening wear — the pear and orange blossom bridge the two compositions surprisingly well.
