Scent Journey
The first 0-30 minutes opens with a bright, spicy rose lifted by lemon, lavender, and peony. The lavender adds an aromatic, slightly fresh-spicy edge, while lemon provides a brief citrus sparkle. Rose is present from the start, but it is not yet the dense, jammy rose of the heart.
From 1-2 hours, the heart reveals a fuller rose supported by sandalwood, jasmine, and frankincense. The white floral and woody accords become more prominent, giving the composition a smooth, slightly smoky, and resinous character. The lavender recedes, and the rose-sandalwood pairing takes center stage.
After 4+ hours, the base emerges with oud, guaiac wood, oakmoss, musk, and ambroxan. The oud is woody and slightly smoky rather than animalic, while guaiac wood and oakmoss add depth and a mossy-earthy nuance. Musk and ambroxan soften the blend and extend the longevity. The final impression is a warm, woody, rose-tinged skin scent.
Performance Dashboard
4-8 hours on skin, depending on skin type and application. A reviewer notes lower oil concentration than Oud and Roses, which may explain the moderate-to-long wear.
Powerful, noticeable scent bubble in the first hours. It projects well before settling closer to the skin.
Strong. The scent leaves a noticeable trail, especially in the first few hours.
