Scent Journey
Saffron leads for the first 15 to 30 minutes. Expect a dry, warm spice with a characteristic metallic shimmer rather than a fresh citrus lift, since the documented pyramid contains no citrus at all. It is assertive for the first few minutes, then begins to soften as the floral heart rises.
Between roughly one and two hours, jasmine moves forward and the composition turns clearly floral. The white floral accord dominates, with saffron still present as a warm thread underneath. This is the most constructed, most perfume-like phase of the wear, and it reads unmistakably unisex. The metallic edge fades rather than vanishes.
From about four hours onward the base takes over: musk first, then ambergris, with cedar holding the structure. What remains is a soft, warm, faintly saline skin scent with a clean woody tail. It is quiet by this stage and sits close to the body, which is where the composition is at its most appealing.
Performance Dashboard
Estimated at roughly 6 to 8 hours on skin. The musk and ambergris base is the reason: both materials are known for clinging to skin well after the top notes have gone. Not a published figure.
Moderate, sitting within roughly arm's length for the first couple of hours before pulling in close to the skin for the remainder of the wear.
Moderate. This is not a room-filler. It creates a scent bubble rather than a trail, and the bubble contracts steadily after the first two hours.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- Short, clear note pyramid built around saffron, jasmine, musk, ambergris and cedar
- Genuinely unisex, with no strongly gendered floral or woody bias
- Moderate projection makes it safe for offices and shared spaces
- Extremely accessible pricing at roughly $58 to $60 for 60ml
- Available in both Extrait de Parfum and EDP concentrations
- Sits within a well-established, widely stocked product line
- The Sport name sets an expectation of freshness that the saffron-jasmine-musk profile does not meet
- No oud in the documented note list despite the line name
- Moderate projection will disappoint wearers who want a statement fragrance
- The perfumer is not credited and no release year is published, which limits provenance
- The 5.0 user rating rests on a single vote and carries no statistical weight
- Performance figures are estimates rather than published specifications
Price & Value
“For buyers who already like saffron, jasmine and ambergris, this is a low-risk purchase at a fair price. For buyers expecting a fresh sport fragrance or a true oud, the money is better spent elsewhere in the line.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations reported.

Layering Ideas
- Layer with a plain woody or cedar-dominant base to extend the drydown without disturbing the jasmine heart.
- Apply alongside a citrus-forward eau de toilette in summer to add the freshness the Sport name implies but the pyramid does not supply.
- Pair with another Amber Oud line member, such as Amber Oud Bleu Edition, to push the composition toward a brighter, more resinous register.
- Keep layering light: the musk and ambergris base is already dense, and over-application flattens the saffron opening.
