Pros & Cons

  • It actually very wearable and frankly quite enjoyable, if a warmer, darker, richer take on the DNA. This sort of does to Code what Chanel's l'Exclusif did to Bleu.
  • It's a fantastic leather fragrance in my opinion. Great performance too.
  • This is Code Absolu with a gasoline/leather. Very unique in the designer world, smells and performs INCREDIBLY.
  • For a designer, it's very daring. Very leather forward, animalic, sweet... if you're looking for a masculine, very unique for the designer space, powerful and bold fragrance then this is it.
  • It lasts for hours on the skin, with a soft, understated sillage that never invades anyone's space.
  • It lasts for hours on the skin, with a soft, understated sillage that never invades anyone's space. It's not a revolution by any means, but a dark, masculine scent that works best in autumn and winter.
  • Smells nothing like the code line, it's just another strong cash grab elixer that smells much like a lot of the others, strong yes but unpleasant.
  • Maybe the worst elixir of all time. Definitely the worst code... This has nothing of the og black code soul in it. Also unbalanced and not pleasant even.
  • Quite boring for its name and price, too far from the rest of the line.
  • The scent is linear and, in my opinion, not very well balanced, as it seems to want to convey both a clean and dirty aroma simultaneously... one of my daughters told me it smelled like a barn.
  • Have no idea what went wrong between this and my skin chemistry but it ended up smelling like a dirty dish rag on my skin.
