- ✅ This has been my signature scent for two years. The scent is very elegant. It features a well-balanced vanilla that offers a sweetness, but not the juvenile kind found in perfumes with caramel, sugar, and overpowering vanilla. No, in this perfume, the vanilla works beautifully with the white flowers, which impart a sense of maturity and wisdom.

- ✅ I feel like I can’t really do this one justice in a review! It is just so, so lovely. It starts out with a citrusy-red berry burst, and quickly settles into a white floral/ambery scent with hints of said citrus and berries. I absolutely adore it. Le Parfum in White reminds me of Kenzo World edp, but with a vanilla/amber finish. I also get hints of Valentino DBIR intense, oddly enough - I assume that’s maybe the benzoin? Idk, but this one also has great longevity and good silage, and has quickly become a part of my regular perfume rotation. The price for the quality is stellar as well. This is one that I most certainly anticipate re-purchasing for as long as it’s available
- ✅ After researching the Elie Saab Le Parfum line, I decided to blind buy this one—Le Parfum In White. This perfume is heady; an unapologetically beautiful and fragrant white floral. It’s not a subtle skin scent, but it remains classy and elegant, making it suitable for any occasion. The opening is sharp and citrusy (I don’t seem to detect the red berries—maybe more of a red berry lemonade?). Then, it settles into an addictive blend of sweet orange blossom and jasmine. This phase lasts quite long, before drying down to a soapy, musky, and powdery scent—almost a skin scent at that point. Performance: • On clothes: lasts for multiple days. • On skin: lasts all day. • Sillage: average. If you love white florals, you will love this one! It’s perfect for spring and works well in summer too. I’m not the biggest fan of patchouli, but I can barely detect it here—or it blends so well with the other notes that it enhances the fragrance beautifully. I’ve been looking for a scent like this for so long, and I’ve finally found it!

- ❌ Upon first spray it’s bright and floral. I can smell the patchouli but it’s balanced. Reminds me a little of BBW You’re the One. Then about 1/2 hour later the patchouli took over. Way too much. I don’t love patchouli forward scents but I’m generally fine with it being a supporting player. In this case, I was actually uncomfortable wearing this on the weekend around the house - the scent was too overbearing. 2 hours later it had softened into something easier to like but it was rough getting there. I think others may love this but it was not for me. Good longevity.
- ❌ I've had some doubts about this fragrance for almost 2 years. It was very creamy, comfy and addictive at first, but maturated into a synthetic, powdery, musty patchouli. It's quite feminine and classy, especially in the sillage rather than when sniffed close to skin, but at the same time has no real personality and smells pretty generic. I experienced a similar evolution to powdery patchouli with Shiseido Ginza and also hated how it changed with time. I really appreciate patchouli-forward scents but somehow cannot stand the feminine, powdery variations on it.
- ❌ It opens heavily floral, bright and heady. After an hour the character changes completely as it turns balmy and ambery. Tolu balsam dominates, with patchouli and amber and a drop of benzoin. The white flowers take the back seat which irritates me, despite the fragrance being good. It is stylish, but from In White I expected lighter base. This phase is unisex, the start feminine. The bubbly patchouli balmy effect received its own bottle as Le Parfum Royale, which is gorgeous in winter, so maybe In White will like snow. Applied at 9 p.m, I feel light traces of it at 1 p.m still, when my skin heated.
- ❌ I thought I would wear this perfume before heading over to my sisters house for dinner! I walked in the door of the house and the first thing my brother in law asked me was if I had been smoking cigars? Hmm now I have never smoked in my life so I thought maybe it was the perfume I was wearing, he took one sniff of my wrist and said yep. So now this has put me off this fragrance unfortunately. I don't want to smell like cigars😕
