Pros & Cons
- ✅ Rum-tobacco-leather beast mode that earns the 'black' framing
- ✅ Outstanding longevity and projection — fills a room
- ✅ Head-turning fall/winter signature at mid-tier pricing
- ✅ this is freakishly beautiful. stunning. masterpiece. signature scent worthy. 10/10.
- ✅ Beautiful, fresh and elegant fragrance, performance wise is about 10 hours on skin with above average projection, great sillage, super dense smelling for a fresh fragrance, but not cloying in any way.
- ❌ Pure cold-weather evening — wrong everywhere else
- ❌ Heavy enough that 1 spray is genuinely the maximum
- ❌ May be too assertive for the office or sporty settings
- ❌ Iris yet again submerged with violets Nothing new or special Yes the quality is incredible yet it suffers from lack of performance...
- ❌ Unfortunately, there's also an all too familiar 'cheap' smell to it that could be found in most men's designer fragrances a decade or two ago... may come across as a generic 'synthetic' quality redolent of hair spray, cheap body sprays at times.
- ❌ Iris yet again submerged with violets Nothing new or special Yes the quality is incredible yet it suffers from lack of performance
- ❌ Opening starts a bit too sharp when smelt up close to be honest but once it dries down its heaven
