Pros & Cons

  • ✅ So very gorgeous and reminds me of 2015.... More juicy and fun than Insolence, the later is quite thick and dusty, Pleats Please however is a gorgeous macaron, delicious, powdery, soft, ultra feminine.
  • ✅ A dead ringer for the original John Galliano; but I like this better. The complexity of the woody Patchouli makes this beauty a far more appealing elixir. An absolute violet beast!
  • ✅ This purple Pleats Please EDP is a wonderful perfume ! This isn't really powdery. Just a hint of a chic lightweight powdery veil comes from a soft cloud of macaroons crushed into a mico-fine dust. Sweet pea and peony flowers lend a natural floral sweetness.
  • ❌ I like it but it is too sweet for me in some way.
  • ❌ Very bad. It's very showy. It's like violet with juice of purple fruits (sour candy), sharp, floral... I really feel seasick about that smell.
  • ❌ This fragrance is really weird. At the beginning it smells like grape bubblegum, a bit later, like rotten grapes and only one hour later or so you can smell the softness of the violet.
