Pros & Cons
- ✅ A beautiful violet greets me immediately. However, it is not a boisterous violet like the one from L'Erbolario. With dark, velvety, large eyes, this violet looks out into the world, serious - almost a little melancholic.
- ✅ The sweet violet has quickly grown dear to my heart. I don’t like that it is melancholic. Just as well, it could be a candied violet, dark purple and fine-sweet in taste - the crown of a nicely decorated cupcake.
- ✅ Extraordinary, unusual, sparkling, bringing feelings of joy! One of my favourites.
- ✅ So very gorgeous and reminds me of 2015.... More juicy and fun than Insolence, the later is quite thick and dusty, Pleats Please however is a gorgeous macaron, delicious, powdery, soft, ultra feminine.
- ✅ A dead ringer for the original John Galliano; but I like this better. The complexity of the woody Patchouli makes this beauty a far more appealing elixir. An absolute violet beast!
- ✅ This is my favorite perfume of all time (for now). It is so special!

- ❌ Holy Hell. This stuff..... Wow. Starts out all pukey violet. The bad violet - too sweet - akin to that used in Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne.
- ❌ This is a pretty floral scent, but unfortunately it reminds me too much of a clean fresh bathroom and I just can't get that out of my head!!
- ❌ It is very flowery in both delicate and simple way. It is not old lady like, although for someone indoles might always be old lady like... My first sniff was wow! I am gonna buy this. Now, when the pear note weakened (in a few minutes after spraying), it became indolic and flowery only, so I am not sure...
