Pros & Cons

  • ✅ It's easy to notice that this scent belongs to the Classique family. It has the typical warm and creamy to powdery, orange blossom based white floral accord, but it's lighter. The ginger note in the opening is spicy and very refreshing, but not bitingly sharp. Very well-made to me.
  • ✅ The opening immediately reminds me of the Classique EdP or EdT, only fresher and more playful. The citrus notes come across as fruity and sparkling without the synthetic touch that often appears in citrus-starting fragrances.
  • ❌ I find the fragrance too playful and cheerful for that. I would only describe it as erotic to a limited extent, even though the softer components could certainly lean in that direction. However, it consciously lacks the depth and sensuality that one usually finds in darker bottles.
  • ❌ I don't really like seeing Betty Boop as the 'face' of this fragrance, as she embodies more of the sexy vamp and pin-up girl.
