Pros & Cons
- ✅ A modern classic. Much better than most of the modern designer releases that lean candy-sweet and borderline unisex.
- ✅ Fresh. Spicy. Bergamot, pepper, that woody ambroxan base. Smells like a proper man.
- ✅ Great scent profile with a fresh, spicy character that feels vibrant and well-balanced. Performance is excellent, with longevity exceeding 10 hours, along with strong projection and noticeable sillage.
- ✅ This is a bergamot and pepper dream. ... Sauvage defies the awful modern trend of skimping out on body and longevity, and brings bergamot, pepper and 'woodsy' notes back to the fore front where it belongs and it remains, for more than 6 hours.
- ✅ Instant classic. It's only hated because people over spray it. I like it because of how strong and long lasting it is.
- ✅ I think everyone looks forward to the first rays of sunshine after a harsh winter - and when the scent of freshly cut grass is in the air. Wild Fig & Cassis evokes the same feeling of well-being in me.
- ✅ Would you like another glass of 'Kir Royal'? This fragrance from Jo Malone is also very present; definitely not for shy women who like to hide or for 'fragrance beginners.'
- ✅ I make my husband wear this and he smells like spicy herby warm fall leaves it’s amazing n11/10
- ✅ fresh juicy grass... evokes the same feeling of well-being in me. I smell neither amber nor musk, no patchouli or anything else - just juicy grass, freshly cut and maybe a little bit of cassis. Love at first sniff.
- ❌ Foul stench! Made my husband scrub it off. He didn't like it at all and I absolutely hated it. Smells like an old man who peed his pants and tried to cover it up.
- ❌ while i understand the mass appeal, this is synthetic slop. one of the few fragrances that makes me nauseous
- ❌ Mainly a very strong and dominant synthetic dry wood plus random spicy notes mix. ... This is not pleasant on my skin at all, makes me even a bit dizzy every time I catch the scent.
- ❌ really do not like. For the longest time this was the reason I thought I didn't like 'masculine' fragrances.
- ❌ Dior Sauvage is perplexing; its an okay fragrance with a very generic DNA ... The issue for me is its very simple, uninspiring & too musky.
- ❌ It is a fresh, green scent. Ideal for summer, although it is a bit too feminine for me. However, what was missing from the predecessors in my search for Salvatore is also absent in 'Wild Fig & Cassis.'
- ❌ Not for me. Very, very green and fairly sharp as well, especially in the opening minutes.
- ❌ It's not really my thing, but it's still quite okay.
