Scent Journey
The first spray is a sensory explosion. Gasoline accord hits like a wave, sharp and volatile, followed immediately by smoke and plastic. Raspberry appears as a sweet, almost shocking counterpoint, while metallic notes add a cold, electric shimmer. Elemi and benzoin bring a resinous warmth, and bergamot offers a fleeting citrus lift. This phase is intense, aggressive, and thrilling. It smells like a garage at midnight, a leather jacket fresh from a ride, and a spilled can of fuel. Apply with care: one spray is more than enough. The first few minutes are the most intense. You may question your decision. Then, as the bergamot and raspberry emerge, the fragrance becomes oddly addictive. It is a rush of adrenaline, a sensory overload that is simultaneously repellent and magnetic.
As the top notes burn off, the heart reveals itself. Tuscan leather takes center stage, rich and animalic, with a suede-like texture. Cypriol and oakmoss add smoky, earthy depth. Clary sage brings an herbal freshness that keeps the leather from becoming too heavy. Frangipani and ylang-ylang introduce a creamy, floral sweetness that feels almost tropical against the smoke. Cashmeran and narcissus add woody, musky, green nuances. The fragrance is still powerful, but more rounded. It is now a leather fragrance with a gasoline ghost. The floral notes are not dominant, but they are crucial. Frangipani and ylang-ylang add a creamy, slightly tropical sweetness that feels almost incongruous with the gasoline and leather. Yet it works. It is like finding a bouquet in a mechanic's shop.
The base is a slow, luxurious fade. Leather accord remains, but it is softer, more worn-in. Pine resin and oud add dark, resinous, woody depth. Amber and vanilla create a warm, golden, almost gourmand sweetness. Patchouli and cedarwood provide earthy, dry, woody structure. Musk gives a skin-like sensuality. The drydown lasts for hours, leaving a trail of smoky leather, amber, and vanilla. It is the kind of scent that clings to a scarf or jacket and reappears days later. The vanilla and musk in the base give the fragrance a sensual, skin-like quality. It becomes a second skin, a leather jacket that you never want to take off. The oud and pine resin add a dark, forest-like depth. The patchouli and cedarwood keep it grounded. The drydown is where Gasoleather becomes truly luxurious.

- Pair with a smoky oud or amber fragrance to amplify the resinous drydown.
- Avoid layering with fresh citrus or aquatic scents; they clash with the leather and plastic accords.
