Scent Journey
The first thirty minutes belong to orange blossom, and it is a bright, honeyed, faintly green version rather than a candied one. There is a citrus sparkle up top that reads almost like neroli, giving the opening a clean, sunlit quality. It is immediately pretty — almost disarmingly so — before the amber begins to warm underneath and pull it toward something deeper.
Between one and two hours, white amber takes over and the fragrance turns creamy and rounded. The floral softens into a glow rather than a statement, and the soapy facet that runs through the whole composition becomes most visible here. This is the most 'clean luxury' phase of Stellar Times: polished, skin-adjacent, and quietly expensive-smelling.
From roughly four hours onward, Peru balsam and woody notes anchor the composition. The balsam brings a soft, slightly vanillic resinousness with a faint balsamic warmth, while the woods keep the base from turning syrupy. The animalic facet surfaces subtly in the final hours, giving the drydown a lived-in, second-skin quality that keeps it from ever feeling sterile.
Performance Dashboard
8-10 hours on skin, with the amber-woods base lingering noticeably longer on fabric.
Strong for the first 2-3 hours, then settles close to the skin for the remainder of the wear.
Moderate to heavy — it leaves a distinct trail in the first half of the wear, then quiets into a personal aura.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- Unusually luminous, wearable take on amber
- Genuinely unisex — the floral and the resin balance without tipping
- Strong 8-10 hour longevity with a graceful, close-to-skin finish
- Works across spring and fall and holds up in summer and winter
- Restrained three-material structure that feels confident rather than sparse
- The soapy facet will read as 'hotel lobby' to some noses
- Projection fades noticeably after the first few hours
- Premium pricing with no smaller-format entry point in the stated range
- Not enough of a statement for wearers who want a signature trail
Price & Value
“Fair value only if you wear it often. The materials are high quality and the performance justifies the concentration, but this is a price you pay for the maison and the polish, not for rarity.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations have been reported. As with any composition built around natural orange blossom and balsam, minor lot-to-lot shifts are theoretically possible, but nothing notable has surfaced among collectors or in community discussion.

Layering Ideas
- Layer a single spray under a bright citrus like Afternoon Swim to push the orange blossom forward for daytime wear in summer.
- Pair with a dry woody scent such as Imagination to sharpen the base and reduce the soapy impression in humid weather.
- Apply to the back of the neck and inner elbows rather than wrists — the amber reads warmer and less detergent-like on pulse points with more heat.
- For evening, mist lightly over a plain unscented body lotion to extend the balsamic drydown by an hour or two without amplifying projection.
