Nishane Tuberoza X

In the decade since Nishane first disrupted the niche perfumery landscape from its base in Istanbul, the house has consistently challenged Western olfactory paradigms. To celebrate their tenth anniversary, founders Mert Güzel and Murat Katran launched the 'X Collection,' a series of reinterpretations of their most iconic releases. Among these, Tuberoza X stands as a monumental achievement, not merely as a flanker, but as a profound evolution of the original 2014 Tuberóza. To helm this project, Nishane enlisted the 'Master of Tuberose' himself, Dominique Ropion. Given Ropion’s history with the ingredient—most notably his work on the green, hyper-realistic Carnal Flower—the anticipation for Tuberoza X was palpable. This 2024 release represents a shift from the heady, traditional white floral towards a more textural, cosmetic, and avant-garde interpretation of the Indian Tuberose Absolute.
