Scent Journey
The first 0-30 minutes belong to plum and freesia. The plum is dark and syrupy rather than juicy — stewed fruit with a liqueur edge — while freesia adds a clean, slightly soapy floral lift that keeps the opening from tipping into jam. Within minutes the Madagascar vanilla begins to surface, and the fragrance already reads gourmand rather than fruity-floral.
Hours one to two are the heart, and it is the most polarising stretch of the wear. Tuberose arrives creamy and slightly heady, threading a white-floral opulence through the vanilla. This is where Vanilla Vibe stops being a simple sweet scent and becomes something closer to an oriental: rich, textured, and noticeably present in the room.
From roughly hour four onward, the base takes over. Amber and labdanum supply a warm, resinous sweetness; cashmere wood softens the whole structure into something plush and slightly powdery; oud provides a dry, faintly smoky shadow underneath. The finish is smooth, expensive-smelling, and it lingers on fabric long after the skin scent has faded.
Performance Dashboard
Parfumo users score longevity 8/10 — expect a full evening's wear, with the amber-oud base outlasting the bright top notes by hours.
Above average per the community data — a clearly perceptible aura rather than a skin scent, though it settles closer to the body as the base takes hold.
8.2/10 on Parfumo. This leaves a genuine trail; one to two sprays is plenty for a dinner, three if you want to announce yourself.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- Exceptional value: a plush gourmand oud for roughly €35-€60 per 100ml
- Above-average longevity and sillage for the price bracket
- Genuinely unisex composition that works on a wide range of skin types
- Smells considerably more expensive than it costs
- Tuberose in the heart is polarising and can read heavy or vintage
- Too dense for hot weather; best reserved for cool evenings
- Small rating sample (12 Parfumo ratings) — the 8.4 is encouraging, not conclusive
- No credited perfumer and limited retail availability outside the EU and Australia
Price & Value
“Per euro, this is one of the stronger gourmand-oud propositions on the market — you are paying for juice, not for a name.”

Layering Ideas
- Layer over an unscented vanilla or amber body lotion to stretch the drydown well past the eight-hour mark.
- Add a single spray of a dry cedar or smoky oud to sharpen the base for cold-weather evenings.
- Pair with a light neroli or citrus-forward fresh scent to brighten the opening for spring wear.
- Spray once on a scarf or coat collar — the amber-labdanum base clings to fabric beautifully and re-releases for days.
