Scent Journey
The first spray is the most photogenic moment. Apricot arrives first — soft, velvety, faintly almond-adjacent — followed almost immediately by peach and the tart, slightly dark edge of açaí. It smells like fruit that has been sitting in the sun: ripe, warm, a little over-generous. There is nothing sharp or alcoholic here, which is a real achievement for a mist at this price point.
As the top notes burn off, raspberry steps forward and the composition gets noticeably rounder. Raspberry can go jammy and synthetic or tart and slightly green, and here it lands closer to the latter, held in check by orange blossom. The orange blossom is the quiet hero of the middle: clean, faintly soapy, and just indolic enough to keep the fruit from reading as dessert. This is where Cheeky Biquíni stops being a fruit salad and starts being a fragrance.
What is left after a few hours is vanilla, amberwood and honey — a soft, warm, slightly powdery skin scent. The amberwood gives it a whisper of structure, and the honey adds a syrupy sweetness that stops just short of sticky. If you have smelled the drydown of a Cheirosa mist before, you will recognise the texture: comfortable, close to the skin, and moreish in a way that makes you reapply without thinking about it.
Performance Dashboard
Moderate — reported 1–6 hours as a mist, with the upper end typically achieved on moisturised skin and on fabric or hair.
Soft to moderate — sits at roughly arm's length from the wearer.
Moderate — a pleasant personal cloud rather than a room-filler.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- ✅ Genuinely juicy, realistic fruit opening rather than a generic sweet blur
- ✅ Exceptional value at roughly $24–$40 for 90ml
- ✅ An outstanding layering tool that plays well with gourmands, vanillas and woods
- ✅ Non-polarising, easy-to-wear profile that suits a wide range of tastes
- ✅ Açaí berry gives the composition a tart edge that keeps it from tipping into candy
- ❌ Mist concentration means short wear time — reapplication is part of the deal
- ❌ Soft projection limits its presence in cold weather or large spaces
- ❌ The powdery base is the most divisive element and may read as retro or cosmetic
- ❌ Not distinctive enough to serve as a signature for collectors who want complexity
Price & Value
“Excellent value if you measure pleasure-per-dollar; only disappointing if you measure hours-per-dollar against eau de parfum standards.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations have been reported for this release. As with most Sol de Janeiro mists, the perfume mist concentration is the stronger of the two formats, while the body mist is deliberately lighter and intended for all-over use.

Layering Ideas
- Layer over a Cheirosa '62-scented body cream from Sol de Janeiro's body care range — the pistachio-caramel warmth underneath turns the fruit into something closer to dessert, and it is the most on-brand combination.
- Spray the mist first, then add a single spray of a vanilla or amber eau de parfum on top — the mist supplies the brightness, the perfume supplies the staying power.
- Pair with Cheirosa '48 to double down on fruit for a louder, juicier effect.
- Add a dry woody-amber layer underneath if the powdery drydown is not your favourite; it gives the composition a cleaner landing.
- Application tip: spray onto damp, moisturised skin and into the ends of your hair. Both dramatically extend wear time and neither costs anything extra.
