Scent Journey
First 0-30 minutes: plum, licorice and apple lead with a thick, syrupy sweetness, sharpened by a dusting of cumin and pink pepper. The fruit reads dark and jammy rather than fresh, and the spice keeps it from tipping into candy territory.
1-2 hours (heart): amber and labdanum take over, adding a sticky, resinous warmth that sits underneath the fruit. Patchouli supplies an earthy, slightly camphoraceous counterweight, while ylang ylang threads a soft floral note through the middle. This is the densest phase of the wear.
4+ hours: tobacco arrives in earnest, wrapped in honey and vanilla. Sandalwood and cashmere wood give the base a creamy, slightly powdery texture, and musk holds everything close to the skin. The final hours are warm, sweet and quietly persistent.
Performance Dashboard
8-12 hours on skin, with the base lingering well past the 10-hour mark on clothing
strong - clearly detectable at arm's length and beyond for the first several hours
heavy - leaves a substantial scent trail in the first three to four hours
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- Extrait de parfum concentration with 8-12 hour longevity and heavy sillage
- Rich, well-structured tobacco-honey-vanilla base that reads far above its price bracket
- Genuinely unisex composition with a distinctive fruity-spicy opening
- Excellent value at roughly $50-$68 for 100ml
- The sweet, syrupy profile is polarising for anyone who avoids gourmands
- Too heavy for summer or hot, humid weather
- The cumin note in the opening can read savoury or challenging on some skin
- Not a subtle office scent unless applied sparingly
Price & Value
“Outstanding value. Few fragrances in this price bracket deliver extrait-strength performance and a base this rich.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations reported.

Layering Ideas
- Layer with a plain oud or rose attar to push the tobacco into a deeper, more Middle Eastern register.
- Layer with a single-note vanilla or tonka fragrance to amplify the honeyed base without adding sweetness from scratch.
- Layer sparingly with a dry, woody cedar scent to pull the composition away from gourmand territory and toward something more austere.
