Pros & Cons
- ✅ The opening presents an immediate rush of fruit, sweetness, and warmth. The primary notes I perceive are rum, white peach, tobacco, and vanilla, with the white peach and rum dominating the initial projection.
- ✅ It’s definitely an indulgent, seductive, boozy, and sweet & spicy fragrance. NOT an easy wear, it’s so special and unique that it must be saved for an occasion of the same magnitude it demands.
- ✅ The Extrait does to the EDP something like tension to a spring, it stretches it - Extrait stretches the EDP's opening for longer, the mid for longer, and the drydown for longer while not being necessarily stronger, but smoother and thankfully, in part, skipping the medicinal syrup that many complain about.
- ❌ It’s nothing more than okay. Kind of gives me an headache and it’s just not interesting at all. Sillage and longevity is not good either.
- ❌ Do not fall for the hype train with this one. This has a headache inducing opening, and very similar to Red Tobacco’s opening. Dry down is good, is less sweet than RT’s, and much smoother. Glad I got a decant before sending it with a full bottle because I would’ve regretted it.
