Scent Journey
Jasmine arrives first and arrives loudly. For the first 20 to 30 minutes the fragrance reads as a white floral with a clean, slightly indolic edge, and this is the lightest it will ever be. The sweetness that defines the drydown is already visible underneath, but the floral note is doing the talking.
Benzoin takes over roughly an hour in, and the character of the fragrance changes. The resin adds a balsamic, syrupy warmth that reads as amber-adjacent, with a faint spicy tingle that matches the warm spicy accord listing. The jasmine does not disappear so much as get folded into the resin, becoming a background texture rather than a distinct note.
From roughly four hours onward, vanilla owns the composition. It is a thick, sweet, slightly powdery vanilla rather than a sharp or boozy one, softened by residual benzoin and the last traces of white floral. On clothing the base can persist well past the eight-hour mark on skin, and it leaves a noticeable trail on fabric.
Performance Dashboard
Reported at 8+ hours on skin, and longer on clothing. The vanilla-benzoin base is heavy and resinous, which is consistent with that kind of persistence.
Heavy. Reviewers describe a solid scent bubble with near-nuclear performance — a small number of sprays goes a long way.
Strong. The fragrance leaves a clear trail and is easily detected by people who were not standing next to you when you sprayed it.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- Very strong performance — 8+ hours on skin, longer on clothing
- Simple, easy-to-wear vanilla-amber-white floral profile
- Heavy projection means very few sprays are needed
- Warm, comforting character that suits cold weather
- Overall Fragrantica rating sits at a middling 3.15 out of 5
- Sweet resinous vanilla can be cloying in warmth or in enclosed spaces
- Three-note pyramid offers little development for complexity seekers
- Heavy projection is a liability in offices and restaurants
Price & Value
“Value cannot be assessed without a verified retail price. Judge it against the performance instead: at eight-plus hours and heavy projection, a bottle goes a long way per spray.”

Layering Ideas
- Layer with an unscented body lotion rather than a scented one — the vanilla base is already dense and does not need help.
- A single spray on clothing rather than skin extends the vanilla drydown considerably, but test on an inconspicuous area first because the resin can stain light fabrics.
- If the sweetness feels excessive in milder weather, apply one spray to the back of the neck instead of the chest to reduce the scent bubble.
