Pros & Cons

  • ✅ Cherie 2005 is a very chic Parisian fragrance. It is a youthful, delicious, delicate and uplifting.
  • ✅ It's the perfect fruitchouli that all the designers took a stab at in the '00-'10s. They never got better than this one.
  • ✅ I was in my early 20s and life was very exciting and this beauty was a part of it!
  • ✅ It is a relief to know that Cherie has no distinct (smack in the face) caramel note of this kind. What I smell is fruits like strawberry, cherry, mandarins with underlying sweetness.
  • ✅ I can see a similarity between Cherie and Chanel Mademoiselle, but Cherie is much more delicious, playful and youthful.
  • ✅ Smells youthful, playful, and subtly gourmand. Feels flirtatious and joyful — like a fun date night where everything feels light.
  • ❌ I hate to be brutal but for me it's just generic. There's nothing that wows me about it
  • ❌ Opens very medicinal and dries down plasticky on me.
  • ❌ I was sooooo let down by this. ... loud, cheap, fruitchouli bomb!
  • ❌ I was sooooo let down by this. ... loud, cheap, fruitchouli bomb! It's so unrefined and trying too hard and cloying, suffocating, all the things that you think of when thinking of heavy, old-style perfume.
  • ❌ Hated it when I bought it four years ago, still hate it. ... It is spicy, warm to a point where I can't even call it cozy.It is a nightmare if you over spray it.
