Pros & Cons

  • ✅ Unique scent profile with distinctive character
  • ✅ Good for fall and cooler weather wear
  • ✅ Decent longevity and performance
  • ✅ Spicy-warm autumn feminine — ginger and sandalwood crème
  • ✅ Striking red bottle that's vanity-worthy
  • ✅ This has become one of my holy grail scents. It's powerful and sexy without being overly sweet.
  • ✅ I love Rouge. It was the first L'Interdit I purchased because it's such a unique scent....delicious and sexy.
  • ✅ I think Rouge is the best version of this line. The scent is extremely sexy and special.
  • ✅ This is a stunning fragrance. To me the OG is nothing special but rouge is definitely in my top 5.
  • ❌ Can smell like root beer on some skin types
  • ❌ Limited mentions suggest niche appeal
  • ❌ Polarizing scent that doesn't work for everyone
  • ❌ Syrupy in heat
  • ❌ Too potent for tight spaces
  • ❌ I was supposed to love all the L'Interdits, and especially Rouge. Surprisingly, they all smell like chemical carpet cleaner on me, and they're also super weak.
  • ❌ I think this perfume smells like a rootbeer float. It is super sweet. It wasn't for me.
  • ❌ This one is woody, and has a tad of juiciness... not worth the full bottle or price IMHO.
