The first 0-30 minutes are a burst of green and tart: galbanum's resinous, bitter greenness is immediately softened by the sharp, fruity tang of rhubarb. A saline marine note adds an aquatic, almost ozonic freshness, creating a sensation of cool air and wet leaves. The gardenia is barely perceptible at this stage, lurking beneath the surface.

After 1-2 hours, the heart emerges as a delicate bouquet of white flowers. Gardenia takes center stage, but it is a translucent gardenia—creamy yet airy, with none of the heavy, buttery richness typical of the flower. Jasmine and tuberose add a subtle indolic warmth, while ylang-ylang contributes a faint banana-like sweetness. Rose provides a soft, powdery undertone. The overall effect is a harmonious, slightly green floral accord that feels like a gentle breeze through a garden.

From 4 hours onward, the base notes of iris, vanilla, and musk come to the fore. Iris lends a cool, powdery, almost lipstick-like quality, while vanilla adds a whisper of sweetness. Musk provides a clean, skin-like warmth that anchors the fragrance. The gardenia fades into a soft, ethereal memory, leaving a trail of soft powder and clean musk. The drydown is intimate and comforting, lasting well into the evening.
