Scent Journey
The first 15 to 30 minutes are the most distinctive phase. Italian lemon leads with a zesty, slightly sharp edge rather than sweetness, while bergamot adds a soft, tea-like bitterness underneath. Green apple supplies a crisp, faintly tart fruit lift — closer to a Granny Smith than a dessert apple. The overall impression is bright, almost sparkling, and unmistakably fresh.
Roughly one to two hours in, the citrus recedes and the heart takes over. Bamboo gives the composition a green, watery quality that most wearers will read as fresh rather than floral. Jasmine arrives as a light, clean white floral, nectarine adds a juicy, faintly fuzzy fruitiness, and iris contributes a smooth, slightly powdery texture. The fragrance becomes quieter and softer here, and this is where it settles into its signature.
From around the four-hour mark, what remains is a clean, skin-adjacent musk over a thin layer of dry cedar and soft, creamy sandalwood. There is no vanilla, amber or sugar in the base, which is why the fragrance stays fresh from first spray to last rather than turning warm or syrupy. On many wearers the drydown is faint and fades entirely within four to six hours.
Performance Dashboard
Moderate overall, and inconsistent across wearers. Many report four to six hours on skin, while a significant number describe it as weak or short-lived, with the citrus phase gone within an hour or two.
Soft and close to the skin, particularly after the first hour. Expect it to be detectable by you and by someone standing directly beside you, and not much further.
Intimate. The fragrance stays within a close radius and does not fill a room, which is a deliberate consequence of its light EDT construction.
When to Wear
Pros & Cons
- ✅ Bright, genuinely pleasant citrus-and-green-apple opening
- ✅ Versatile and inoffensive — safe for office and daytime wear
- ✅ Very affordable for a 100ml eau de toilette
- ✅ Clean, unisex-leaning drydown with no cloying sweetness
- ❌ Longevity is moderate at best and weak on some skin
- ❌ Intimate sillage and soft projection require frequent reapplication
- ❌ The distinctive citrus phase is short-lived
- ❌ Limited cold-weather appeal
Price & Value
“One of the better low-risk blind buys in the sub-$40 bracket, provided you already like light fresh florals and are not expecting powerhouse performance.”
Reformulation History
No significant batch variations reported. As with most mass-market eau de toilettes, older or poorly stored bottles may show a weakened citrus opening, since the top notes are the most volatile part of the composition.

Layering Ideas
- Layer over an unscented body lotion in summer to slow evaporation and stretch the citrus opening.
- Pair with a plain white musk or clean cotton eau de toilette to extend the soft drydown without altering the character.
- Apply a cedar or sandalwood base oil underneath to give the light composition noticeably more staying power.
- Avoid layering with sweet gourmands or heavy ambers — they will bury the green apple and bamboo accords entirely.
