Scent Journey
The first minutes are saline and bright. Salt is not literal table salt; it is a textural impression, like mineral air or skin after a swim. Grapefruit adds a bitter-citrus edge, and cypress gives a green, aromatic dryness. The opening is not sharp or loud. It is translucent, with a quiet sparkle that sets up the floral heart.
As the top notes settle, freesia and rose emerge. The rose is soft, clean, and slightly powdery, not jammy or dark. Freesia adds an airy floral lift. Incense begins to show its resinous, smoky side, but it remains restrained. The salt note persists, giving the rose a coastal or skin-like quality. This is the most balanced phase of the fragrance.
The later stages bring musk, palo santo, and guaiac wood. The musk softens the composition and brings it close to the skin. Palo santo adds a creamy, woody warmth, while guaiac wood contributes a dry, smoky nuance. The rose and salt do not disappear entirely, but they recede into a soft woody-musk haze. At this point, Sans Voir becomes an intimate skin scent.

Layering Ideas
- Layer with a clean musk or cedar to extend the base without obscuring the salt-rose accord.
- Pair with a citrus cologne in warm weather to amplify the opening's grapefruit freshness.
- Avoid heavy amber or oud layers, which would overwhelm Sans Voir's delicate structure.
