Pros & Cons
- ✅ This wears like the niche house that I believe Mueller started out being. It's dark, it's mysterious, and it's slightly sweet, but yet there's an air about it that makes it very wearable to me.
- ✅ My most favorite perfume ever. The combination of the saffron, jasmine and musk is like nothing else. Addictive. Middle Eastern. Definitely a Mysterieux.
- ✅ I’ve never really gotten along with the classic Alien. However, the musk and oriental notes in this version completely captivate me. I will definitely get a backup bottle — it’s one of my absolute favorites
- ✅ Alien- as peculiar and exotic as we know her- wrapped in a spicy bed of musk. A luxurious fur blanket, with otherwordly jasmines growing beneath it.
- ✅ Amazing! Might be my favorite Alien. It's the original Alien backbone, but warmed up with a unique saffron opening and a deep spicy vanilla drydown. Gorgeous!
- ❌ I've 14 Aliens, i love mugler, but this is bad, unwearable, the saffron is too animalic, like you're walking in hay stable.. really smell like poop.
- ❌ As a lover of the original Alien and musky scents, I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, my skin chemistry does not work with musc mysterieux at all, all I get is the lingering animalistic note that on my skin smells like a sweaty armpit of a 50-something man in overcrowded public transport on a hot summer day.
- ❌ I tried a sample of this perfume, and I am so glad that I didn't buy the bottle. It made me sick and I had to wash it off 15 minutes after application.
- ❌ I can't stand those first 15 - 20 minutes of very strong animalic barnyard accord. When you survive this part, it becomes very pleasant, especially on the dry down.
