Scent Journey
The first mist is a bright, almost green pistachio. It is nutty, creamy, and slightly toasted, with a lactonic softness that recalls pistachio gelato. There is a subtle sweetness, but it is not sugary; it is the natural sweetness of the nut. The green facet adds a fresh, slightly bitter edge, like the skin of the pistachio. This top note is the most fleeting part of the composition, lasting only minutes on most skin.
As the pistachio fades, praline and caramel take center stage. Praline is a confection of nuts and caramelized sugar, and here it smells rich, buttery, and nutty. Caramel adds a smooth, golden sweetness, with hints of vanilla and burnt sugar. Together, they create a luscious, dessert-like heart that is comforting and indulgent. The lactonic quality from the top continues, giving a creamy, milky texture. This is the most satisfying phase of the fragrance, but it is also short-lived.
In theory, the drydown would be a soft woody-patchouli embrace. In practice, on most skin, the fragrance is barely detectable by the 2-hour mark. If you are lucky, you might catch a faint woody whisper after 3 or 4 hours, but it is more of a skin scent than a perfume. The patchouli is subtle, and the woods are dry and clean. This is not a fragrance that will linger on your scarf or pillow; it disappears without a trace.
Performance Dashboard
Short; reported ~10 minutes to 2 hours on skin. As an Eau Gourmande body mist, it is not built for all-day wear.
Low to moderate; noticeable only in the first moments.
Soft; stays close to the skin.
