Pros & Cons
- ✅ This is perfection in a bottle, it's original, memorable, rich, warm, long-lasting, gives most of the overhyped niche perfumes a run for their money and makes me feel wrapped in a cosy, fluffy, expensive cashmere blanket.
- ✅ High quality delicious salted caramel and jasmine. Creamy, rich, beautiful, sweet, somehow deep yet not at the same time. Well balanced and blended, linear on me, long lasting.
- ✅ The magic of TOF is in the drydown where the jasmine and caramel start to dance together, so that I can smell each of them. Imho this makes the development of TOF more interesting than Essence Absolue, and slightly more wearable because it feels less thick and dense.
- ❌ This is too darn sweet. It’s sweet upon sweet topped with sweet with a side dish of SWEET. There are no notes to discern, just tooth-aching sweetness.
- ❌ I find this not as strong as the original TM essence absolute. (I have the original darker TM EA formula) If you happen have the original alien and PR Olympea Intense and spray them together, youll likely get the same effect, maybe even stronger than this bottle, because I do find the caramel quite weak here and overpowered by the main Alien DNA.
- ❌ It's very sweet, but doesn't really charter the gourmand territory, despite its 'tasty' provenence. The caramel feels more like a Starbucks syrup than actual caramel.
