Scent Journey
The first 30 minutes are a dizzying, multi-dimensional floral explosion. The combination of four roses (Turkish, Bulgarian, May, and standard) creates a 'Hyper-Rose' effect that is both fresh and deeply jammy. Aldehydes provide a metallic, airy lift, while saffron and pink pepper add a dry, spicy crackle. There is a faint hint of coffee and dried fruits that gives the opening a gourmand-adjacent complexity without being edible.
As the heart emerges (1-2 hours), the Taif Rose takes center stage—a more peppery, lemony, and sophisticated rose. The honey and benzoin begin to sweeten the composition, while the earthy tones of patchouli and cypriol oil provide a grounding, forest-floor contrast. It’s here that the fragrance feels most 'Middle Eastern,' with a rich, resinous texture that feels like velvet on the skin.
The drydown (4+ hours) is where Narjesi reveals its darker secrets. The animalic trio of civet, castoreum, and leather creates a 'second skin' effect that is incredibly carnal and primal. This is balanced by a smoky incense and a surprising touch of spun sugar, which keeps the animalics from becoming too pungent. The oakmoss and sandalwood provide a classic, long-lasting structure that persists for an entire day.
Performance Dashboard
Eternal. This fragrance easily lasts 14+ hours on skin and can stay on clothes for weeks.
Beast mode. Projects several feet for the first 6 hours before settling into a strong personal bubble.
Enormous. It leaves a massive trail that fills a room and lingers long after you've left.
