Scent Journey
The first fifteen to thirty minutes are the most extroverted phase: a bright citrus cologne with a natural lime prominence, bitter bergamot and grapefruit sparkle, a sharp lemon edge, and a fleeting orange roundness. The texture is watery and clean, with a green aromatic shade already visible beneath the citrus. Projection is moderate at this stage, enough to be noticed in personal space without filling a room.
By the first hour, the fragrance moves into its heart. The citrus remains, but it becomes less angular and more integrated. Green aromatics and buchu introduce a minty-herbal, currant-like nuance, while the lime-water infusion idea makes the composition feel cool and transparent. This is the most distinctive part of Azure Lime, even if it is not the loudest. The powdery musk begins to emerge at the edges, preparing the transition to the base.
In the drydown, roughly three to five hours in, sandalwood, woodsy notes, and musk dominate. The lime is no longer a distinct top note; it survives as a memory, a faint citrus tint over soft wood and clean musk. The texture becomes powdery and intimate. Many user reports describe the late stages as close to the skin, requiring a deliberate sniff at the wrist or collar. This is not a drydown that announces itself across a room. It is a private finish, clean and slightly nostalgic.
Performance Dashboard
Moderate to weak; roughly 3-5 hours on skin per many user reports.
Moderate at first, then quickly close to skin.
Moderate; noticeable within personal space but not room-filling.

Reformulation History
No significant batch variations are widely reported for Azure Lime. However, citrus-forward fragrances are inherently sensitive to age and storage; heat, light, and oxygen can dull the top notes. A well-stored bottle will preserve the sparkle better than a bottle left in a warm bathroom.
