Scent Journey
The first 0-30 minutes are an immediate rush of labdanum and coffee absolute. The labdanum provides a resinous, slightly leathery warmth, while the Santos coffee absolute adds a dark, roasted bitterness that is both invigorating and grounding. There is a subtle sweetness lurking beneath, hinting at the vanilla to come, but the opening is predominantly rich and aromatic.
As the fragrance settles (1-2 hours), the heart emerges with a bold Turkish Balkan tobacco absolute. This is not the ashy cigarette note some fear; rather, it is a smooth, pipe-tobacco richness with a hint of dried fruit. The patchouli prisma essence adds an earthy, almost chocolatey depth, creating a leathery, smoky aura that feels both masculine and mysterious.
After 4+ hours, Enflamme reveals its true comfort zone. The Madagascar vanilla surabsolu takes center stage, creamy and sweet but never cloying, while the tolu balm resinoid adds a soft, balsamic warmth with a powdery finish. The result is a skin-hugging trail that whispers of amber, vanilla, and a faint memory of coffee and tobacco.
