- ✅ i'm not at all familiar with the original black opium, but this bottle did not disappoint at all. the scent itself is very pleasant and comforting to me. it's woody, spicy, and a bit floral. i can sense a bit of coffee in it too... i have gotten nothing but compliments wearing this fragrance.
- ✅ I haven’t smelled the original bottle but I blind bought this one and it’s really nice. It smells like vanilla and coffee.
- ❌ in my experience, both the longevity and sillage are underwhelming. two hours in the street and the scent was off my body almost entirely.
