Pros & Cons

  • ✅ It’s a Like for me. Not my favourite flanker but I do enjoy wearing this & layering with other fragrances. There is a pronounced coffee smell well into the drydown, which I prefer over just getting vanilla/caramel notes. The licorice blended with the fruits and florals gives it a higher pitch and a fun-flirty vibe. Not to be taken too seriously, so good for social, casual non-formal settings. I agree with other comments that I’d only purchase this discounted. I got mines heavily discounted so had nothing to lose. Not really a fan of the glam rock design on the bottle but I do like that you can easily see the perfume level. Longevity is decent, lasts at least 6hrs on me but the throw is somewhat lacking and more intimate than projecting. Love layering this with Dior Addict…heavenly combo mmm.
  • ✅ Don't shoot me, but I actually love Black Opium EDP and think this design is fun. When my current original bottle is finished, this might be on my birthday list.
  • ❌ This fragrance is on the major downslide. Way too overpriced for what it is.
  • ❌ I noticed the flankers (including this one) have different notes & tweaks to the original, which is cool. I love this bottle, it's easy to see how much you have left. I ended up selling my back up & only keeping this to layer with other fragrances. It's an easy reach with 'meh' lasting power on its own. I love it in my collection but would only buy it at a discount.
