Scent Journey
The first spray is orange. It is juicy, bright, and slightly effervescent, with a natural citrus quality that feels refreshing rather than sugary. Within minutes, the orange begins to fade and the florals start to emerge. Geranium appears first, bringing a green, slightly spicy rosiness. The opening is clean and inviting, and it sets up the heart without any harsh transition.
The heart is a floral chypre bouquet. Rose and jasmine become more prominent, supported by geranium. The rose is not a jammy or heavy rose; it is more of a classic, slightly green rose. Jasmine adds a white floral softness, but it does not dominate. Around this stage, the oakmoss and patchouli begin to peek through, giving the florals a mossy, earthy backdrop. The fragrance feels elegant, composed, and very wearable.
In the base, oakmoss, patchouli, and benzoin take over. The oakmoss is the star: mossy, woody, and slightly bitter, it gives the fragrance its chypre signature. Patchouli adds an earthy, slightly dusty texture, while benzoin rounds things out with a warm, balsamic sweetness. The drydown is dry, sophisticated, and slightly vintage in character, but it remains airier and lighter than the original Dioressence. It stays close to the skin for the final hours, leaving a refined trail.
