Scent Journey
The first spray is an explosion of creamy milkshake, frothy and sweet, with a distinct chocolate undertone. It's almost edible, like stepping into a retro diner. The milkshake note is thick and creamy, with a dairy-like realism that feels incredibly comforting.
As the top notes fade, the whiskey takes center stage. The boozy warmth is smooth and oaky, like a fine bourbon, with subtle spicy undertones. The chocolate base begins to emerge, creating a rich, gourmand cocktail. Warm spicy and woody accords add complexity, preventing the scent from being one-dimensional.
Unfortunately, the drydown is where A Cloud of Cocoa falters. Many reviewers report that the fragrance disappears entirely within an hour, and even on those with longer skin chemistry, it rarely lasts beyond two hours. The base notes of chocolate and woods are pleasant but fleeting, leaving you wanting more.
Performance Dashboard
Very weak; under 1 hour on skin per multiple reviewers. The edible formulation prioritizes realism over tenacity, resulting in rapid evaporation.
Moderate. It projects to those nearby but is short-lived, becoming a skin scent within 30 minutes.
Moderate. It creates a scent bubble that is noticeable but not overpowering.
